Expensive and No Food Available for Children's Tastes
Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre的点评
点评：Overpriced car park and don't cater for children's food at all.
My family and I had been going to Sherwood forest for decades and it used to be a lovely place where you parked within the woodland and were immediately surrounded by the forest and the centre that was themed around Robin hood.
Nowadays, they've closed all that section down and instead make you pay £10 for the car park where you have to walk across a busy road with children. The poor car park attendents are having to wave their arms high in the air to even get a signal if you're paying by card, which creates a long queue onto the surrounding roads.
The cafe is small and constantly queuing, no menus, so no idea what food they actually do until you get to the till when they explained its only the sandwiches in the fridges. There were no sandwiches at all that were designed for children. The cafe/shop area looks like it's design over substance.
We were attending on an event day for the gathering of the north, presumably that families could come along to as there were a lot of children but as my 9 year old son pointed out, the only food there aimed at kids was the sweet stall! All other food apart from mac and cheese, had flavourings aimed at adults.
I've made a similar review before and nothing has changed since we went a couple of years ago. So I think we're sadly finished going to Sherwood Forest.
