The Old Rep Theatre的点评
点评：We entered theatre at 7.40, 20 minutes before the show was advertised to start & it was chaos the doors to auditorium were locked, people queuing for bar was so bad it was clogging reception where people were to enter the building, the stairwells were also packed as the doors were locked so we left to let things calm down as locked doors particularly on stairwells can be dangerous if there is an incident, we returned at 8.10 to be then told you cant go in now as the show has started & you will have to wait 15 minutes because of H&S, this made no sense at all as the show would still have started 15 minute's later !!, there was even one man who had left his wife in their seats & gone back to the bar to get their drinks who was also told you cant go back in !! After the so called manager had decided he had made us wait long enough he allowed us to go to our seats which meant we had then missed nearly half an hour of the show, even the artist (Carl Barron) seemed to be a bit taken a back by people taking their seats so late & even commented on whether he should start again.
If the doors had not been locked then people would have been sitting in their seats long before the show was due to start & the management at this venue need additional training in customer service IMO
