点评：Day trip to Peru, IN to visit this museum. Yes, it is handicapped accessible throughout the old retail store setting. If you’re interested in Cole Porter or the major traveling circuses, this is te place for you. Three floors of original artifacts from Cole Porter (including his Cadillac used in the “Godfather” movie - first floor. The second floor was mostly artifacts from the community itself and the third floor was a treasure trove of artifacts from the Barnum and Bailey Circus, Ringling Brothers, and others once based in Peru. Super interesting even though I was never a circus goer myself. Anything from the history before my time is interesting to me. The circus life is still ingrained in Peru. There is a festival in the summer and dozens of of kids train for the high wire and other acts to display their talents in the air conditioned big top. Definitely worth the trip. Spent about 2 hours total, then lunch at Harvey Hinkelmeyers. Wonderful trip.
