Lovely Beach - Beware of "Armtrac Security"- the Car Park Scammer!

点评：The beach is nice enough - far from being Cornwall's finest, but it's okay, and dog friendly which was what we were looking for. Arrived at the Car Park at 09:50 - couldn't get a signal to pay for parking so drove out again, as it was still quite chilly, and went to a petrol station. (Allegedly the cheapest in Cornwall, but it wasn't cheap at all!) Managed to raise JustPark at the petrol station so booked 5 hours from 10:30. Had a coffee and returned to the car park. We enjoyed a peaceful few hours in the sunshine and left the car park at 15:28.
Imagine the shock when my Leasing Company wrote to say I had received a Parking Ticket. Armtrac tried saying I hadn't paid. I provided proof from Just Park, now they have changed their tune to say I parked from 09:50 to 10:30 without paying. See you in court.
I have reported to Cornwall County Council Trading Standards but you just get the usual rubbish back, which explains why no action has been taken against Armtrac since 2020. There have been hundreds of complaints made but Cornwall County Council staff take their inflated salaries but do nothing.
We are currently dealing with a high number of enquiries and consequently we may be unable to provide a direct response to you.
