Very commercial but still a must see for its religious status
乌伦达努布拉坦寺的点评
点评：This Balinese temple has a fabulous Lake side location. The people who run the monument have really expanded its non-religious activities to attract tourists and families in large numbers in an area away from the shoreline. Attractions include fish feeding, a small zoo, attractive gardens plus a restaurant. That said, it remains first and foremost a religious centre and a visitor is almost certain to see a procession of families dressed in their finery carrying offerings often accompanied by loud drummers offering a chance to observe local rituals at close quarters.
The whole of the temple area is immaculate with pristine temples and lovely gardens and a walk around the site takes a minimum of one hour. It is far from a peaceful retreat but it is worth making the effort to get here. There are benefits is trying to get there earlier in the day, we were staying locally so we managed to avoid the worst of the crowds seeking constant Instagram perfection.
Entrance for tourists is 75k, cash and cards are accepted. Although you should dress respectfully given the status of the temple as a religious centre, there is no formal dress code presumably because the huge numbers of people who descend on the place makes control quite difficult.
