Breathtaking Rara Lake views, easy trail, poor hotel conditions—an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

点评：The trail to Rara Lake is absolutely beautiful, with the stunning blue waters of the lake accompanying you almost the entire way. The route itself is very easy, making it a pleasant trek for most people. The lake’s crystal-clear water and the surrounding scenery are truly breathtaking — it’s a place you must visit at least once in your lifetime.
However, when it comes to accommodation, you need to be careful. When we visited, there were only two hotels available, and sadly, later on, one of them burnt down. As far as I know, there’s just one hotel left now. The condition of the hotel is quite poor — hygiene standards are very low, so if you can, I highly recommend carrying your own extra bedsheet.
At night, don’t be surprised to hear wolves crying right outside your door, which can be quite an experience! Also, if you’re visiting in winter, be prepared for no running water in the toilets, as the water completely freezes.
Despite the challenges with staying overnight, the overall experience of Rara Lake is magical. The views are unforgettable, and the peace you’ll find there is unmatched. If you're an adventurer at heart, Rara Lake is definitely a must-visit destination.
