We visited Gupteshwar Gupha, one of Pokhara’s well-known cave temples. The entrance is small, and you’ll need to walk down a narrow staircase to enter the cave. Inside, it’s a bit dark, slippery, and humid — so good footwear is a must.
The natural rock formations are interesting, and you’ll find a Shiva Lingam temple inside, which adds to the spiritual feel of the place. As you walk deeper, you can also see a glimpse of Devi’s Falls from inside the cave, which is a unique viewpoint.
It’s a short visit — around 20-30 minutes — and worth seeing if you enjoy caves or spiritual sites. However, those uncomfortable with narrow, damp, and uneven paths might want to skip it.
Overall, a decent and different experience in Pokhara for a quick stop.
