点评:Okay! So I didn't even realize I actually was going here, I went by accident because I was trying to find another place completely, but this wound up being one of the most interesting things I saw in all of Nepal, in 25-days. Now, I wasn't allowed into the Hindu area because it is a temple, but just standing in the line and going down into the spiral, into the ancient cave with water dripping overhead, filled with statues and total vibe, whoa! I highly recommend it, especially for this price. I still am kicking myself for not buying more at the many shops outside. Absolutely loved this cave and temple, maybe because I obviously had no expectations? It was fairly crowded but nothing terrible. And I felt a bit claustrophobic but the area I was in was large enough.
A fascinating cultural experience and worth visiting if in Pokhara. Some of the prettiest photos I have are from here. Maybe it's a lot like many places in India? I have not been to India yet but it felt extremely Indian to me versus Nepalese, which can be a subtle but important difference. Maybe only because it's Saivite? I don't know. But beautiful! And with a vibe.
