Spirit of the Outback的点评
点评：I’ve just disembarked my first proper sleeper cabin train experience and my expectations have been well and truly exceeded.
My wife and I are ~30 and live in Longreach, so we may not be the typical passengers on the Spirit of the Outback, but I think we’ll be back on board as often as we can.
We travelled overnight from Longreach to Maryborough so we could visit Fraser Island for our babymoon.
Straight off the bat I was impressed by the customer service of the entire crew, particularly Steven, Dan, James and Dave who looked after us this time.
Dani and I shared a twin sleeper cabin, and while I was surprised by how small it seemed at first, once we’d settled in there was ample space for our bags and relaxing.
I’d heard rave reviews about the food, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Great presentation, well cooked, delicious flavours.
We had our own table for a romantic dinner but shared one for lunch with Kev and Suz, a lovely couple of retirees from Sydney.
The bathroom facilities were fine, basically like you’d expect on a plane, nothing to write home about.
I had a great sleep 😴 I’d say I was jostled awake as much as I was gently jostled to sleep 😂
I’m ~6’1” and fit snugly on the bed, but I could see how taller folk would need to start getting a little creative.
Aside from the odd tight squeeze when the bed was down and when there was traffic in the corridors, we were never uncomfortable.
There were lots of little things (too many to mention) that really made this experience special, and I can highly recommend it.

我睡得很好😴我得说，我被轻轻推醒的次数和被轻轻推入睡的次数一样多😂
我身高大约6英尺1英寸（约1.93米），睡在床上很舒服，但我能看出个子高的人需要发挥点创造力。
除了床铺放下来的时候偶尔会有点挤，以及走廊里人来人往的时候，我们感觉很舒服。
很多小细节（太多了，无法一一列举）让这次体验如此特别，我强烈推荐。
