Hidden gym near Vogel. Shops and tubing on the river. But if the river is low, you will get stuck.

点评：The place is absolutely adorable. Take some time to explore the shops and the general store. Delicious ice cream served at the Trading Post. Everyone is very friendly. We went tubing down the Nottely river. Only $10 a person. And even though the Internet says they’re closed on Sunday, they are open 7 days a week, 10 am- 5pm.
The river was low and we got stuck A LOT. It was fine, but it’s not a leisurely float all the time. You’re going to be working out. Fortunately, they give you a stick to push off and steer with.
He said it was an hour and a half float. But it was more like 2 hours + for us. Because we kept getting stuck. And then it started storming. But, it was still fun. Just keep in mind that you will get stuck on rocks. So, if you’re large, ask him for a big guy float.
Also, shout out to Mike. Super great guy. He was our bus driver and he knows everything about the area. Don’t forget to get some barbecue at Smokin’ Jim’s BBQ right up the street. Delicious. It was just what we needed after fighting the rocks in the river. This is a hidden gem in Blairsville, just a few miles from Vogel State Park. Don’t miss it.
