点评：Despite the name, there is nothing truly ancient about this place — just life-sized replicas and, unfortunately, yet another hotspot for scams. Be smart: buy your tickets on Klook.com where it’s 50% cheaper than at the entrance.
Expect a cash deposit of 5,000 THB for a golf cart or 1,000 THB for an electric bike — even if you pay by card, they refund you in cash. We opted for the bus/tram at 80 THB per person, which was advertised as making 5 stops to cover the whole park. That’s a lie — it only stops 3 times, so you only see about a third of the park unless you’re ready to walk 15 km under the heat.
Worst of all, the treatment of animals is appalling. Tourists can ride elephants and water buffalos for entertainment. Absolutely disgusting and outdated.
Yes, it looks nice in pictures and it's only an hour from Bangkok by taxi — but be warned. The staff was unfriendly, the experience poorly organised, and the atmosphere unpleasant. We left after 2 hours, mostly spent waiting 15 minutes at each tram stop. Overall, we were just disappointed and disgusted by the whole visit.
