点评：I love Worthington Park, Sale. I daily thank the philanthropist Mary Worthington who gifted this beautiful park to the People of Sale in 1900. I admire the Friends of Worthington Park who so generously tend it and Trafford Council who do a sterling job.
And so I must take issue with Colin S who wrote a peevish review about several issues.
Colin, it’s a park! People visit to take exercise and enjoy nature, and you complain you can’t park on site. If you want an all singing playground, go to a play centre or theme park. If you want fancy exercise equipment, go to a gym. You say it’s OK for locals, and it’s ‘nothing special’. Au contraire, the ‘locals’ are delighted with it so you should find your local park and give Worthington Park a wide berth.
And to the reviewers who want a coffee shop in the park, you are within 200m walking distance, in both directions, of a plethora of coffee shops.
