点评:I had high expectations about this museum, however it turned out being a disappointment. History is a very wide term, and when you put that in the title, along with the country name, you expect more than just a fragment of it.
Have in mind that 90% of museum layout is focused on 90's Bosnia war. While I fully understand and respect local people pain and tragic memories of horrible Sarajevo siege, this topic is fully presented in several other museums in Sarajevo we've also visited and payed our respects (Museum of crimes against humanity, Sarajevo Siege museum and Gallery 11/07).
Saying that it turned out being another already told story of horrible events. Medieval Bosnia is very poorly presented in a small basement room and WWII Bosnia is presented in the courtyard with Where is Walter exhibition, a very average one.
Besides that, have in mind that museum appears having no heating - it was freezing cold in February when we visited.
