点评：This small cafe is unique but for a bad reason as it’s the only time I’ve been ripped off during our week here - a 330ml can of Coke Zero and double espresso came in at €5.80 - everywhere else here this averaged €4 and the Coke Zero came in 500ml glass bottles; in one place it was €3.60 for the 500ml bottle and double espresso.
Yes it was only a small sum but I hate being scammed and what really irks is the mindset that the owner thinks it’s acceptable to do this. It’s a mind set that would chance it every single time with tourists if he thinks the opportunity is there so give it a wide berth as there’s lots of honest businesses around this very impressive square.
As it’s the only place I was asked if I wanted ice and lemon on ordering my guess is that this spiv charged me extra for ice and lemon, everywhere else this came in the deal. It’s as well I don’t take sugar in my coffee as he’d likely want a fee for this as well. Never again.
