点评:Popped in as we were staying in Watchet for the week. Wonderful welcome. Lady behind the till was very friendly and bubbly.
It's free with recommended donation and we were there about 50 minutes which I would imagine is about the average visit length. There's lots to see and a few bits to interact with. Enjoyed the sea shanty music.
There is a sheet of information to guide you around but it felt like something was missing. Perhaps a few clearer or more detailed signs on some of the displays. At first I hadn't spotted the sheet so was blindly walking around.
They do sessions for school children and have had lovely feedback from teachers so definitely worth visiting. They've pendants there and I managed to make my name out of them which was fun. Disappointing some were missing but I took great pride in taking all of them out and rerolling them so the display looked tidy again.
There was a young girl who came in as we were looking to leave who was bounding about the place and loved it. Parking next door, steam train behind, toilets in the car park opposite (might be one in the building but didn't notice it).
