Amazing D-Day Battlefield Tour
D-Day Tours of Normandy的点评
点评：Outstanding tour. We scheduled for the two-day tour of the battlefields (31 March - 01 April) and had a great time. Malcolm was an outstanding tour guide, very knowledgeable and very well prepared.
Spent one day touring the British/Canadian beaches and another day for the American beaches (to include the U.S. cemetery at Omaha). We also toured some of the more prominent German defensive positions and other key locations related to the invasion. The 2nd day also included a visit to the cemetery at Omaha Beach. This was a beautiful, somber and reflective visit. Both my wife and I are veterans and the fact that Malcolm mentioned the four women who were buried here was appreciated.
Malcolm picked us up at our BnB in Bayeaux and drove so transportation was not an issue. His wife Alison made us a fabulous picnic lunch (Quiche Lorraine was great!) for Day One and we ate at a really nice cafe for Day Two.
All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this company for small groups or a family.
