Incredible place to stay with a fantastic private safari
Silole Sanctuary的点评
点评：I stayed at Silole (pronounced Si-lo-lay) for one night at the end of a business trip, followed by the dawn patrol safari. Will was incredibly helpful and welcoming, ensuring I had everything I needed for a great stay & making me feel safe and comfortable as a sole female traveller.
The dawn safari was wonderful, including a picnic breakfast in the national park, going with Will means you take the less frequented routes and see more animals and hardly any other cars! On my trip I was lucky enough to see lions along side all the other usual suspects in the park (giraffes, rhino, hippo etc). Will was incredibly knowledgeable, having lived on the edge of the park for 25 years and provided lots of local insights as well as being able to name all the animals birds and plants I asked after!
As I had a later flight, Will was gracious enough to let me stay at Silole into the afternoon, and also gave me a walking tour around the areas of the sanctuary he's been rewilding.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend Silole to anyone on a flying visit through Nairobi or for a longer stay!
