Amazing Marcelino Serrano Winery Experience!!

点评：Had the absolute pleasure of spending a lengthy amount of time with the amazingg Blanca at Marcelino Serrano Winery in Alcala La Real today!! I aspire to be as passionate about ANYTHING in life as Blanca is about continuing her family’s legacy making wine. We were completely blown away by the passion and detail Blanca takes in all aspects of her winemaking!! The tour, the detailed tastings, the history and the work and effort she has put into producing some of the best quality wine we have ever tasted is amazing!!
With over 20 different varieties of grapes, Blanca and her father Marcelino managed to even recover a variety that their ancestors grew in the region generations ago to produce the smoothest, most unique organic wine in Spain. We came to Spain to find the best wine, learn how it’s produced, taste varieties that are impossible to produce in Australia as well as invoke ideas on how to produce on our own property- and today we found that and more!! We’ve seen some amazing things in Australia, but today was really special, and a definite highlight of our trip around Spain.
This wine is carefully picked, crafted, tested, bottled, labeled by Blanca at the properties, following in her Dad’s and Great Grandfather’s footsteps and brought to tables around the region, it’s celebrated and enjoyed in the top restaurants, and I’m so glad we were fortunate enough to have this experience. There is so much love in each bottle, and so much care put into each step of production, and we will savour every drop from our next 7 days around Spain and Portugal. Thank you Blanca. Our trip here was well worthwhile 🥰🥰🥰
