Perfect day out with animals for the whole family!
Little Ponderosa Zoo的点评
点评：The Little Ponderosa Petting Zoo was a perfect way to spend an afternoon. It is a small rescue and petting zoo not a major zoo like the Knoxville Zoo but that is also a plus if you like less crowds and more touching animals. We bought a big bucket of animal feed ($20) and asked for 2 small buckets so each child had one. This excursion was not cheap but well worth it and you are helping to take care of animals. It is good for all ages. We had a 2 and 5 year old, young adults and 60 year olds. We all had a great time. I would suggest to take 1 small hand sanitizer after feeding all the animals. We enjoyed the autumn/ Halloween decorations, play area (slide and swings), climbing through the fox house, and the most fun was feeding the animals. They have ponies to ride and an area for birthday parties which we did not use. I have also been to this petting zoo on a first grade fieldtrip and enjoyed that day too. Animals seemed very well cared for. Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who loves animals. We spent about 21/2 hours. Easy to spend more or less. Once you pay, you can spend the day. Some animals included: goats, deer, foxes, tiger, monkeys, wolves, zebra, alpaca, emus, kangaroo, snakes, birds, camels, ostriches and more!
