Stunning chateau well worth a visit

点评：We have family who live in Jumilhac and today was our first time visiting the chateau. It is a beautiful building; whenever we visit Jumilhac I can't help but admire it.
On actually visiting the chateau today I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. Yes, there are many areas of the chateau off limits but it's a whole lot of chateau and I'm sure there's plenty of areas requiring renovations. What there is though is stunning and it's great to be able to wander around freely with very little in the way of security ropes, etc. Our two young children really enjoyed our visit and asked so many questions cause they were allowed to look around properly.
The gardens are stunning also for the end of the tour.
It wasn't the cheapest admission charge (32 euro for the 4 of us) and we were round in around 90 minutes and that's because we really took our time but if it goes towards the upkeep then it's definitely worth paying.
