Sea Wolf Adventures的点评
点评：This was a fun day trip with our host He'ma, who stepped in last minute. Representing his first nation, we were fortunate to learn from his stories and encounters with the local wildlife. We were fortunate to be in a group of 8 however there was plenty of space aboard the enclosed vessel.
An early start to the day began with equipping our life jackets and binoculars. A short walk to the shore lead to fairly lengthy trip out to sea before we were lucky enough to see a bear swimming to shore on a nearby island. Unfortunately this would be the only bear sighting, despite best efforts to remain quietly posted at a nearby sighting spot. The waiting in anticipation, together with short trips on a rickety school bus, dingy and forest walks kept the day varied and exciting!
He'ma is a lovely host; super friendly, loves to share his knowledge and passion of wildlife and went the extra mile to ensure we saw some sealife on the return leg. We saw otters, sea lions, bald eagles and lots of orcas. Breakfast on board and lunch by the trappers den was simple and delicious.
Absolutely recommend this tour. Just go into it with the expectation that despite having the whole day, even the best efforts of the guide cannot guarantee a sighting. Thank you again!
