An oasis of nature and calm in bustling KLCC

点评：In such a bustling city, Perdana Botanical Gardens truly is an oasis of peace & calm.
Situated just round the corner from the Majestic Hotel you can reach it easily from KL Sentral or The Muzium Negara MTR stop.
There is something new to discover around every corner; from a herd of deer and colourful aviaries to cooling waterfalls and well kept formal gardens.
I believe there is an electric shuttle around the gardens but it wasn't in evidence on our visits; luckily we enjoy walking but it seems a great idea for those less mobile.
It was great to see it is also used by the community with book libraries and frequent concerts to local residents performing their skilful Tai Chi movements.
Do pack plenty of water and sun cream as places to buy are very limited and I would say go early or later in the day to avoid the strongest sun, as shade is sometimes hard to find.
