点评:We visited Crazy Mountain Museum when we were camping nearby. The museum has several rooms of historical decor and artifacts that show the life of the pioneers that settled the town of Big Timber. Many were from Norway and the history is rich with stories of the families that lived there. Many of the locals are descendants of the original pioneers. I found it interesting to walk around and look at all the families that were listed alphabetical and had pictures as special memories shown. In the middle of the room were big posterboard type room dividers that listed newspaper articles, ads and pictures from the variety of businesses they had over the years each categorized by type of business. Rodeo and ranchers were featured in another room. Schools and hobbies. Fascinating! My husband and I enjoyed talking with the volunteer curator who was a local and retired teacher. She was a wealth of information! I highly recommend stopping in and let the museum tell you about the people who lived there.
