Commercialized, long wait times, food mediocre
Over-Water Night Show & Dinner的点评
点评：Honestly, I was disappointed. The whole evening felt very commercialized, and there was way too much downtime between when we were seated and when the show actually started…like at least 45 min of absolutely nothing. The main performer, the “chief,” spent most of the show just screaming — I really wished I had earplugs.
For the price, it’s extremely expensive, and I don’t think it delivered the value. There are many other island or Polynesian shows around Rarotonga that feel more authentic and enjoyable… and some are free and/or are directly on beach (great for sunset). The buffet food was just okay at best — the lamb dish was especially unappetizing.
Overall, between the high cost, long waits, loud performance style, and average food, I wouldn’t recommend Te Vara Nui. There are better cultural show options on the island that give you more genuine entertainment and a better overall experience.
