点评：We booked a superior room here as we have stayed before and always enjoyed it.
Not so much this time however. We arrived at reception to be greeted by a rather surly chap who I found out was the manager Daz. There was no welcome just a “ do you want to check in”. He was covered in tattoos which whilst J have no objection to per say is not a good look for the manager of an establishment.
We were given our key in a sealed envelope with instructions to read when we got to our room.
Our room was in the roof space which didn’t bode well as we are both6 ft tall. The room itself was well done and comfortable but what struck us immediately was the loud noise of the extraction system on the flat roof adjacent to our room. I immediately went down to ask for a swap and was informed curtly that they were fully booked. I was also informed that the plant system would be switched off around nine so there would be no issue. The noise was so loud that you could hear it. above the television. We had a pleasant meal and returned to our room around 9.30. The plant was still running. I went down at 9.45 ti complain and again at 10.15 . It was eventually turned off at 10.40. So if you are tall and want a good sleep avoid room 17. Just to cap it all we both managed to bang our head s on the low ceilings
