Great Free Museum in Tokyo Midtown

点评：Fujifilm Square is a small photo museum and display center for Fujifilm’s latest cameras and hardware. It is located in the Tokyo Midtown Shopping Center, which is in Akasaka, next to the Roppongi district.
Inside Fujifilm Square is a wonderful photo museum with rotating exhibitions by local and international photographers. There are special and seasonal exhibitions throughout the year, as well as an exhibition of Fujifilm’s annual photo contest winners.
For those who shoot with Fujifilm cameras, or would like to try one out, you can rent cameras and lenses at the museum. The Tokyo Midtown area is very photogenic, and a great place to take photos. Nearby are the Tokyo National Art Center, Hinokicho Park, and the Hikawa Shrine, not to mention the Roppongi Hills shopping center.
Access is very easy, you can take the Hibiya or Oedo Subway lines to Roppongi Station, and simply follow the signs inside the station directing you to Tokyo Midtown. You can also take the Chiyoda Subway to Nogizaka Station, and follow the signs inside the station.
Tokyo Midtown is located on Gaien Higashi Dori (street), and if you take a taxi, be sure to use the name of this street, in recent years there have been a few Midtown development in Tokyo and elsewhere (even in Hawaii), and you don’t want to be taken to the wrong one.
Exhibitions change on almost a weekly basis, and there is always something new and interesting to see.
While at Midtown, you can enjoy good food and drink, or buy some food and picnic at the park next door.
