Great venue, very underwhelming spa
The Vineyard Hotel & Spa的点评
点评：We attended on 1st December for a half day spa, with 2 course lunch and a mini facial. We are both avid spa user and so we have many references from cost and aesthetics, to facilities and staff relations.
In summary the vineyard is a lovely building on well maintained grounds however the Spa is very much a bolt-on unit in need of much attention and repairs. The staff were very friendly and professional in their manner. The therapists knew their products and the treatment was very relaxing. Unfortunately there was also a number of building features that really let the experience down. The main pool was VERY cold and could not use. The hydrotherapy jets underwater are broken, the waterfall is also broken. The jacuzzi rear jets are broken, and the water was a long way from hot. All round the edges high and low is rust and moulding silicone. The spa waiting room and after treatment room is located within the busy staff prep and clear room thus the restful time after your treatment is quickly interrupted.
The lunch after was again one of 2 Half's. The starter for both of us was full of flavour and we'll presented, however the two wraps we ordered were very bland. We ask for condiments to try add flavour and the waiter smirked as though to say you shouldn't need any additional flavours. We ordered a separate latte and again although it was well presented £5+ for it was wildly over priced.
Value for money is fundamental in our standards for spa days and unfortunately this fell along way short for £100+ per person. We welcome any challenges from the venue and would like to reiterate the staff at the spa and treatment were friendly and well mannered.
