Priory Farm Estate的点评
点评：I have often visited this garden centre over the years as a youngster with my dad fishing/strawberry picking to being an adult bringing my own children on the nature trail and visiting the garden centre cafe.
I work as a support worker and thought I would visit recently with the 88 year old lady I support. We decided to have a little walk around the grounds before going into the garden centre, it was about 10:30 so was very quiet we walked through the area that said discovery land, no one was at the counter so proceeded to walk through thinking you would only pay for the actual discovery walk etc but we just wanted to look at the lake/fish. A gentleman who works for priory farm came running up behind us and asked if we had booked? I said no we didn’t want to do trail we just wanted to see the lake/fish to which he replied we couldn’t without paying £6.95 each? I said not to worry then as was not prepared to spend that to walk to the lake and back which I feel did not warrant that price.
It’s such a shame this was such a disappointing experience for both of us, and not sure how that warrants paying nearly £14, I appreciate they have set charges but a little bit of discretion wouldn’t go a miss ‘maybe go down and have a little look but next time be aware you need to pay’? But no we left even though the place was empty and no one was around?
We did visit the garden centre for a cup of tea but this experience did leave a bitter taste to a generation garden centres are Predominantly know to attract.
I then fed this back to Priory Farm but received no response over 1 week on
