Great experience making my own stamp

点评：I had a great time at Massimo’s workshop making my own bread stamp. I have been to Matera three times and wanted my own special memento and, as as I make my own bread, this was the ideal choice. Guided by Massimo, I drew the traditional cockerel design handle and then used the saw to carve the shape. He explained how the carving works and helped when needed. I drew my own stamp design and Massimo showed me how to carve away the shape. He was very encouraging to me and let me try practicing my Italian though he speaks pretty good English. He charged the same for the experience as just buying the stamp, so it is excellent value. It’s pretty rustic as expected, and I can’t wait to try it out on my bread. Recommended for people who enjoy crafting or woodwork.
