Exotic Pet Refuge的点评
点评：Myself, Wife and young son really enjoyed our day out. Im not sure if i enjoyed it more than my son.
Parking is located in a field opposite the entrance to the Exotic Pet Refuge (EPR), so depending on weather wear correct footware/clothing. But also it might fill up quite quickly as the Pet Refuge only opens about 6days a year.
Advised to buy tickets in advance but you can also try walking up and paying as I saw people doing it.
It's also advised to bring cash as reception might be patchy and card readers might not work.
Small childern play area as you walk in near the otter enclosure and seating area with plastic slides and climbing bits. BBQ type grill cooking burgers/hotdogs etc at main cafe building with a selection of cakes and soft drinks. Some toilets just to the right.
A few charity stalls dotted around the main area selling wears, sweets, stuffed toys, gift shop etc.
I loved seeing all the different types of animals that you might not normally see from a Zoo. Plus I was shocked to see how big Raven actually are.
Overall we had a great day out and when my son was not on the plastic slides playing with other children he was loving all the animals, even the Snakes.
