Affulent side of the Island, some wonderful scenery and sights, most enjoyable walk about

点评：Tuesday 15th July we visited this rather affluent resort town on northeastern coast of Sardinia, on Costa Smeralda.
This is a popular holiday resort with the rich and famous, some even own homes in the locality, which drive around looking at.
Firstly, we spent some time walking around the picturesque harbour which was populated with a number of boats. The vessels were in all shapes and sizes, expensive yachts alongside fishing and tour boats. We followed the pathway around which was lined with upmarket restaurants and botiques. We walked across a number of wooden bridges that linked various sections with the Port.
From there we walked along the mosaic cobbled street, Via del Mola, the mosaic is titled "Food Chain of the Sea", reviewed separately.
We also visited the Church of San Lorenzo and walked around it's grounds.
There was so much to see while walking around we enjoyed walking around discovering the sights of the area.
As we drove around we also visited a number of the beautiful beaches and enjoyed the sometimes rugged coastal around the coast.
There was definitely a different feel and appearance in Porto Rotondo and Costa Smeralda, it was very apparent there was a lot of money here.
