点评：Text: Cost 8000 tenge return per person. Not too bad for 10 min cable car ride.
We went on a Friday lunchtime and it was pretty quiet. Best to visit in the evenings or at weekend when it would be busier if you want some more atmosphere. Loads of activities mainly for kids but still fun for those of all ages
For a European it’s a little like stepping back in time 30 years, for the sorts of activities but it had a really nice vibe and the views are great.
Everyone we interacted with was very friendly.
You can get at least 20-30% off negotiating in the souvenir stalls.
Everyone spoke enough English to make it pretty straight forward.
Things we learnt are
1. The cable car takes a lunch break around 12:00 for about 30-45m.
2. You can get a bus back to the the cable car base but it’s 3000 tenge.
3. You could walk back down but won’t easily get to the cable car station as there are motorways in the way.
4. You can’t get a Yandex(Uber) unless you want to pay a 15000 tenge fee to allow your driver to drive up the hill. When the actual app says the cost will be 2400T, this is a lot extra. I cancelled mine when the driver started messaging in Russian asking for this.
5. The road up the hill is a closed shop let’s just say so taxis aren’t allowed unless you pay the fee.
Don’t miss it though a great bit of Kazakh culture culture
High recommend for the views alone.
