Good little park!
Emily Provincial Park的点评
点评：We enjoyed this park. We stayed at Hill Campground (between Circle and Hilltop campgrounds) site 136, and although most of the sites were sloped, we were still able to find a level spot. Our site was huge even though it was non-electrical and close to a Comfort Station, a tap and the beach.
The Park staff are some of the friendliest I ever met at a Provincial Park. The Wardens were friendly and firm and drove around frequently and stopped to advise people about noise and if they had too many cars on sites etc and then they came back and followed up which was nice to see as I had heard years ago this was a party park. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the Wardens were keeping everyone in check, at least where we were.
The Comfort stations were cleaned at least twice a day and sometimes more as some of the campers or day users made a disgusting mess. Honestly you can't blame the park for people that behave worse than animals. The Park were quick to clean up stuff when informed though.
The beach is groomed well and is a good size but the swim area is not very big as marsh has encroached along the sides quite a bit. There are a a couple of short charming trails to that are a good distance for children. The store and alot of the Comfort Stations seem to have recently been updated and the park grounds were maintained well. The staff at the store are generous with the ice cream too!
The one downside we had was that the wood sold to us was all moldy and wet and the park won't let you exchange or get a refund so I had to use a fire of kindling to dry out my logs unfortunately. We would definitely go back as this park isn't too far from where we live but there are other parks we will try out first before revisiting.
