Therefore, I was calling to ask, what the best thing to do was, regarding our one night stay, booked for the day after tomorrow? I hoped to be shown some degree of compassion ref my dad, but instead, I was TOLD, by a very unsympathetic, bolshy woman, that because I had booked through pitchup.com, there was no refund to be had, no matter how mitigating the circumstances?! I reiterated about my dad's potentially life threatening condition, and I was again, very coldly and abruptly TOLD, that my booking wasn't until the day after next, so why was I phoning, in other words, why was I bothering her about it now? I was then wrongly accused of having swore at her, by her husband, whom the phone had now been passed to! Upon explaining the awful circumstances of my dad, I was told, and this is verbatim, "Never mind your situation, you dont know what's going on in our live's?" Absolutely disgusting behaviour! A complete lack of empathy or sympathy, just blind, belligerent, shockingly-bad attitudes and appalling customer service! I informed them,that I was going to leave this review, so that others, might avoid being treated so despicably by this VILE couple!
We've just been informed that my dad has been put in an induced coma! So to the couple who run this site, shame on you!
