点评：We recently went on a three day backpacking trip to the summit of Paramillo del Quindío. The team at Paramo Trek did a fantastic job communicating with us about the details and what to expect before the trek began. The trip was very well organized and everything ran smoothly. The ecosystems that we traveled through were all very new to us and every step we took was fascinating. The wax palms, cloud forest, páramo, super páramo have captured our hearts. The people we met along the way at the fincas were all very compassionate individuals and I’m amazed by their warmth and tenacity. Our guide, Norberto, is very kind, helpful, encouraging, and professional. We are impressed by his knowledge of the flora and fauna of these lands. As someone with a passion for nature, I greatly appreciate that he would stop to show us wildlife, animal tracks, plants, and teach us all about them. We respect things and places more when we have knowledge of them, and after going on this trek, we understand how the tropical Andes are such a precious resource that should be cherished and protected. Norberto knows the terrain like the back of his hand which gave us a level of comfort. We are eagerly anticipating our next adventure with him and the team at Paramo Trek!
