点评:Congratulations on the refurbishment and opening of the cafe and really hope it is a success. Popped in for a late lunch at 2:10pm. Lovely, clean cafe which is dog friendly which I loved. Joined queue while we waited for a table. Got a table as reached front of queue so lady came over and took our order at the table. But sadly, we then proceeded to wait 50mins for our food to arrive. Place was quite busy, and I know the staff are volunteers but I think some organising is needed within the kitchen and seating area. It seemed nobody had 'a job'. It appeared everyone was doing a little of everything at the same time in a particularly small kitchen space, tripping over each other. An idea would perhaps be that everyone had their own role within the kitchen and orders are all placed at the counter, (as we saw numerous people coming in, finding a table and nobody taking their order). Payment should also be taken at the time of ordering. As currently when it came to paying you had to rejoin the queue behind everyone placing/collecting takeaway orders. In total we were there for 2 hours for x2 panini and x2 pots of tea, which was lovely when it arrived. I do worry how staff will cope in the height of summer and fear some people may leave without paying, when the cafe is busy.
