点评:We did the Gritti Epicurean half-day cooking class with Chef Franco during our honeymoon in Venice, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable.
We began the day exploring the Rialto Market with Chef Franco as he built the menu based on the freshest ingredients available — such a fun way to start and see how he works! On the way back to the Gritti Palace, we made a stop for delicious cicchetti and sparkling wine, which was an awesome addition to the day.
Back at the kitchen, we prepared an incredible meal: risotto with ceviche, rombo in crosta, and a limoncello crème brûlée. Each course was perfectly paired with wines selected by the in-house sommelier.
The class was hands-on, informative, and so much fun. Not only did we enjoy a fantastic meal, but we also learned techniques and recipes that we’re genuinely excited to recreate at home. I can’t recommend this class enough — a must-do for anyone visiting Venice!
