点评:My husband and I spent a wonderful day with Chef Franco. It started out with shopping the local food market buying the freshest of fishes and produce. We learned all the secrets of what to and not to pick. As we walked back to the hotel, Franco detoured us to the well known bacari -All'Arco for the best Cicchettis in Venice. He took the time to introduce us to the owners and we shared some of the most tasteful small bites and a glass of wine. My husband was in heaven already - and we hadn't even started cooking! Once we were back at the hotel, we spent the morning cooking side by side with Franco as he took us through every recipe and showed us all his techniques. We made so many dishes - baby artichokes, shrimp risotto, branzino and a perfect souffle with chocolate orange sauce, all which we ate together at the beautiful family styled table in the charming Gritti hotel chef's kitchen. The setting was almost as special as the meal. Thank you Franco for making our trip to Venice so memorable, we cannot wait to try all the recipes. Make sure to call us if you make it to NYC. D & D
