点评：Cairo tower is horrible and a scam for a solo traveler. I went to the cairo tower on my own on april 5th 2025. Firstly the wait to go into the tower is 3hrs and because I was a solo traveler, they only let me go to the top for 5mins. They had a guy follow me the entire time i was up there to ensure I was only there for exactly 5mins. After 5mins, they kicked me out. When I went to inquire why I only received 5mins, they said it's because I was solo and only bought 1 ticket. Apparently there is a time limit if you are solo and only buy 1 ticket. For couples, families or friends with 2 or more people, you could stay up there for a longer time. I wish they told me this earlier or put signs outside the ticket office saying solo/single viewers only go in for 5mins. I would have skipped the tower all together. Visiting this place left a bad Taste in my mouth. They are the epitome of the Egyptian scam. Every where you go in Egypt, someone is trying to scam you and sadly the cairo tower is another place to get scammed. Waiting 3hrs outside and then only getting 5mins at the top is the biggest scam of the century. If I could report them to the Egyptian government, I would. I stayed at the ramses hilton and had a view from the 26th floor so why would I want to pay an entry ticket to a tower where I only get to see the view for 5mins. What a waste. I've been to the burj khalifa, tokyo radio tower and many other sites with amazing views and none of them limited my view because I was solo. This place is a huge rip off. Avoid if you are going there solo. They refused to give me a refund and argued with me for like 20mins when I complained to their manager. Horrible business practices and organization.
