点评：Visiting the Temple of Garni was one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Armenia. Every time it amazes in different way. This ancient pagan temple, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the Azat River gorge, offers a breathtaking mix of history, culture, and nature.
The temple itself is incredibly well preserved, with impressive Greco-Roman architecture that feels almost surreal in the Armenian landscape. It’s hard to believe it dates back to the 1st century! The views from the temple are equally stunning — endless mountains, rolling green hills, and the deep gorge below create the perfect backdrop for photos.
There are local guides if you want to hear more about the temple’s fascinating past, and you’ll find small shops nearby with handmade crafts and traditional snacks. I also recommend stopping by the Symphony of Stones, which is just a short drive away and equally awe-inspiring. Choose from April to June season, because that time nature is increadible and green.
Whether you’re a history lover, a photographer, or just someone who enjoys peaceful places with strong energy, Garni is absolutely worth the visit.
