Terrible Greens
Billingbear Park Golf Course的点评
点评：Played many of the Courses in the area, both turn up and play or as a visitor at a members club. Staff/ organisation etc very good. However the old course (mainly greens) are in terrible condition, worst I have ever experienced . Charging the price they do the Club need to take a good look at themselves. Tees generally churned up with piles of sand thrown on. Fairways reasonable nick. Greens have some patches of proper grass surrounded by ruts and sand. Would be best to offer temporary greens to let the proper greens to recover (could take a long time)
If you have a buggy beware of the bizarre restrictions imposed, basically if you go off piste the buggy bleeps and you have to reverse to get back on track.
Would also suggest Club monitors speed of play, first 9 for our two ball took over 2 hours, have never witnessed such slow play. People oddly lining up puts, on hands and knees on the green when frankly there is zero chance of the ball following the intended line.
