When we sought assistance from an usher, the only solution offered was to relocate us during the intermission. This was problematic for several reasons:
We had to move two sections over, losing our carefully selected seating arrangement.
The new configuration of five seats in a row did not meet our needs for end seats and proximity to the elevator.
Moving was particularly challenging for my mother due to her condition.
We missed portions of the performance during this relocation.
Even after moving, we could still hear and see the disruptive group. Toward the end of the show, two members of the group were finally escorted out.
I contacted Raue center regarding this experience and asking for an explanation of their policy and for some type of reimbursement. Their response was that in these types of situations if patrons are disorderly, they are moved to the back rows. However, since this group was already in the back, nothing could be done. NO type of reimbursement was offered. And no effort was made to see this from the paying customer's perspective. VERY disappointed and will not go to Raue center in the future.
