点评:Discrimination against families of multiple disabled people.
I am now unable to easily book tickets for my family as Omniplex has recently upgraded their ticketing service to block CEA card holders from booking if more than one of the party needs a carer to attend with them.
When I tried to ask for this to be looked into, I was told to book two separate bookings. Unfortunately, this brings with it the risk of us not being able to sit together as a family, and as tickets have a strict no refunds policy I wouldn't be able to cancel. This is by definition, indirect discrimination, and is not in line with the CEA guidance as Omniplex tried to claim.
Really disappointing as I used to love this cinema - It was in an easy to get to location with ample parking close by and good size rooms. Now the customer service has gone right downhill, with a food ordering system that is made to be confusing and awkward and give the worst user experience, and staff that look overworked and stressed out at all the upheaval over the past few months.
Time to change cinemas to one of the others in Birmingham who offer better customer service and don't make you jump through unnecessary hoops to be able to spend your money.
