点评：We did the dinner cruise on January 4th 2025.
It departs at 6pm from in front of the Honeysuckle Hotel and returns to the same spot at 9pm.
The cruise first goes up the North Channel of the Hunter River, under Stockton Bridge and then turns back at Fern Bay, before heading up the south channel for a look at the coal loading berths. Finally, into the basin at Carrington and up Throsby Creek before back to the starting point.
The views are fantastic, especially on sunset; the best time to go was during dinner when everyone was clamoring around the buffet. We had the entire upper deck to ourselves. The food was better than expected and beers at $8 to $9 were reasonable.
We counted 24 tables on the boat, 12 by the windows, 6 one table in from the windows and 6 "unlucky" tables right in the middle. We were one of those. I wonder how they allocate seating (it's all random, I'm sure). Anyway, we still had a nice time.
