Claylands Park的点评
点评：We love this site, the easy access to the site from the A6, then when you see the lovely views going over the hill when you arrive is gorgeous. There are ducks with their babies wandering the site looking for treats.
Previous post mentions barrier refund non refundable which is incorrect. A pre auth amount is on your card, if using a debit card bear in mind your bank may deduct the amount from your account but then it will lapse off, mine took 5 days to roll off. Electricity is on a metered card, very sensible in this day and age to make people more energy conscious. I think more sites should do this to avoid people wasting energy.
The pylons aren't attractive but look the other way and the views are lovely. The trains didn't bother us at all.
Scorton is a lovely village, over the 2 fields by public footpath. The bull in the field is not interested in us we've been told but on the way back it was way too close to the gate to check that theory out so we went back by road. There's a garden centre at Scorton with a lovely cafe and Ice cream parlor selling Wallings delicious ice cream.
Enjoyed our stay once more and will return
