Well worth a visit to view and sample vintage travel

点评：Visited this museum for a recent open day (free admission) but donations were welcome. The museum is "tucked away" at the end of a side street and is surprisingly large. The number of exhibits is also extensive, with many in various states of restoration. Most of the vehicles are over 50 years old, with some much older, and the fully restored buses are immaculate. It is important that preservation of these historical items is maintained. Local rides were being provided on vintage buses, which enable good comparisons to be made with present day travel. Donations were also welcome on completion of the journeys. However, this part of the open day could have been better organised with improved communication and information from the volunteer staff members on duty. Whilst "residents" parking applies in the street leading to the museum, there is alternative on street parking nearby.
