点评:Like every other business that grows and gets busy from doing things right in the first place, KCW has lost its way a bit. Friendliness is down, turn over is high, food quality is hit and miss (how do you get an egg/bacon/cheese sandwich in about 90 seconds?) as corners are cut for sake of efficiency and profit. I guess we are all used to this with the big brands, but it is sad to see the locals following the big brands hoping for similar riches. Forgetting who brought you to the party, is all too common. I still go from time-to-time but prefer the smaller, more local-feeling Rosetta's down the street; not as "sophisticated" but if you want local flavor, try it. Again, KCW is not terrible by any means, but I get very tired of hit-and-miss. Espresso, not bad on Monday, SOUR on Wednesday, Bitter on Friday...everyone thinks that is you can "pull a shot" you are a Barista these days. Stick with the coffee here if you care how your espresso tastes. The Brekkie is not bad, but they are cutting corners, so the bacon is hours or days old, and egg is looks and tastes like it is coming out a five-gallon container, and then there is the microwave rubberized cheese. Oh well, again...not terrible, just...common.
