Absolute best tour I've had in Lao

点评：Everyone looking for a unique experience in Lao should book the night safari tour! Yes, it is pricy, but totally worth it.
As explained on the website, it is a very relaxing and chill way to enjoy the beautiful nature of the park. I did a lot of tours including a lot of hiking, so this laid back experience was very welcoming. Our tour guide spoke very well English and was very friendly. He told us a lot about the park but also about the people, history and culture of Lao. I've done over 5 tours during my trip to Lao and never had such a great experience. We slept in a huts at the camp and were surrounded by noices of all the animals this park has to offer. They made us wonderfull food and we even enjoyed a campfire and had talks with locals. I went during February and on this day we spotted a lot of samba deer. If I had more time I would've also done a multiple day tour as well as the guides are very nice, and really care about our safety. Overall amazing experience. It is a pity this park is not very known among tourists as it is totally worth visiting.
Not sure how to get there? I (a solo traveller) had some issues getting transport from Nong Khiaw to Muang Hiam. Thankfully by contacting the Park, they were so friendly to help me get a driver to drive me the 6 hour bumby road to Muang Hiam. Big tip for solo travellers: if you need any help gettng transport to, or looking for accomodation at Muang Hiam, the people at the office are more than willing to help you get both. They even arranged to get me on the night bus back to Nong Khiaw. You can just text them and they will help you out :)!
