Disappointing Experience
Cousin Island Special Reserve的点评
点评：We booked a private boat for our visit, rather than one of the group excursions, visiting Curieuse first. Our time there was rushed as we learned we had to get to Cousin for 10.00 to be transferred at that time for the group walk round Cousin, none of which we knew beforehand. Fortunately the sea was calm otherwise the transfer offshore from our small boat to an even smaller one, and then vice versa, could have been very tricky. As there were 50 + people visiting that morning it took a while to ferry everyone ashore and even longer to take us all back to our boats afterwards, and we had to stand on the baking hot beach just waiting. The “nature walk” was a shambles with so many people. No sense of being in a beautiful protected place at all. To add insult to injury we had to pay 45 euros pp National Park fee there and then which we thought was included in our advance payment. On the positive side we weren’t eaten alive by mosquitoes which many others report here.
