Utterly disappointing 2024 show. Bring back the real Pageant of the Masters

点评：This year’s show was an utter fail. I’ve been to 2 shows years ago and they were spectacular!
This year, I brought my kids, on the expensive gala night, and bought Loge tickets so they could have a memorable experience. They were so excited to see there actors set up for the scenes, then have lights change to reveal the masterpieces in 2D. There was no set up, no real scenes this year. The frames were much smaller. There was a brief demo of a set up of one of the actors. That was it. My kids were left wondering if there were real people in the show.
We did not pay a lot of money to see an uninspiring fashion show. I should’ve listened to the warnings of others on this site. We wanted to see the setup for the paintings then the change over to the 2D paintings, not the simple depictions of fashion in paintings. How completely disappointing and a waste of talented actors.
To the event organizers, please bring back the fantastic works of art of previous years. A true “Pageant of the Masters,” not the poor excuse of a show this year.
The concession stand was abysmal. Waited over 30 minutes for a pizza. Finally spoke to kitchen staff who then offered a lower priced pizza that he had on hand (I did not get the price difference back and had even left a 20% tip to the horrible cashier). The cashier kept lying and giving attitude. Bring your own food and save yourself the headache.
The art displays by various artists were amazing. It’s a real treat walking around perusing the creative artworks.
The band was great! The announcer was fantastic. The actress from Criminal Minds was great.
